TIPOLISO is a registered local organization established in 2011 in Chingale, Malawi. Its primary goal is to contribute to the development of a healthy and self-reliant Malawi, especially for individuals living with HIV, particularly girls and women, youth, and children. TIPOLISO has established support groups to address the devastating effects of social isolation, stigma, and exclusion faced by young people living with HIV.
HOW WILL YOUR SPONSORSHIP HELP TIPOLISO?
TIPOLISO has made a request to Grace Pad's for 230 Store, Wash and Dry kits to provide to girls and women living with HIV. These kits will help young girls living with HIV to manage their periods safely and with dignity. The lack of access to menstrual products puts these girls at risk of infection and further social exclusion. By providing these kits, TIPOLISO hopes to address period poverty, promote education, and decrease dropout rates. The provision of these sanitary pads will not only positively impact the health and hygiene of these girls but also reduce absenteeism in school. TIPOLISO is poised to make an even more significant difference in the lives of these girls and women living with HIV in Malawi.
